xj fuel?

My buddy is having a problem with his 89 XJ with 4.0. When he takes a right turn the fuel guage goes all the way past the full mark and the engine sputters. If he goes to sharp it will die out. Anyone have any ideas?

do a search on NAXJA.org Forum for strictly XJ's. I have found a lot of good usefull information there. I did a search and a few posts came up regarding this issue. THe big thing it seemed to be talking about was some loose wires. Id post links directly to the board, but the link just seems to keep taking me to the search page. :D
