Springfield/Alexandria Child care

I have a bud who is fixin' to graduate from the FBI Academy. He will be stationed here in DC. He wants to live in the Springfield/Alexandria area. He & his wife will need child care for their 13 month old (I think). I was wondering if those of you that live in that area knew of anything good or had suggestions.

I have a nanny that comes to the house every day from 0730 to 1730. She's watching my two and four year old as well as an 18 month old whos mother my wife knows. I'll ask her if she's good for four (I'm sure she's got her hands full but doesn't hurt to ask right?) We have about 1200 sq ft of kid's haven in the basement (fully furnished)- hundreds of toys and everything that a kid would need. I think she's having the 18 month old's mom pay $150/week. We pay a bit more than twice that.
