This is for the funeral of Army Lt. Col. James J. Walton. Yikes! God has killed another army anti-christ! There is nowhere safe for those of you who put on a uniform for this perverse and God-despising nation of hypocrites and whoremongers. You take your life in your own hands, and God is killing your fellow countrymen! Woe be to those in the armed forces of Doomed America! It would have been better that you had not been born/signed up for that foolish cause. There is no protecting a nation that God does not protect (Psalm 128:1)- your watchmen- your marines- your national guard-your air force- your army- your navy- none of them can win this fight against God! RUN FROM THAT FAG-INFESTED and GOD-HATING association of brute beasts! The flag is a piece of cloth; it can not save your souls from the fires of HELL! You had better listen to us, or you will join James Walton (good night John Boy) in the Lake of Fire! He ignorantly sinned away his day of Grace and brought WRATH down on his head! America is Doomed! Amen.

If the Patriot Guard Riders are handling this, then your best bet is to link up with them. Here is a post on the PGR site.

Do that and, unfortunately, they win. I remember last time they were there here and we got locked down cause we wanted to go. At the time it sucked as we just wanted to go crush skulls, but then we'd be painted as the baby-killing remorseless murderers these zealots say we are.

The help get their financial support by suing the shit out of Americans that get fed up with their chants and signs and step over the line. Aslong as they don't break the law, such as get within x number of feet of a funeral, basically, the inner circle of the funeral, they have a leg to stand on if they are "peacefully" protesting and someone goes over and knocks one of those bastards out. I have heard that they have members that video tape their group to use in court and one of the family members is a lawyer. The have a great write up on them on wikipedia, just look up the westoboro baptist church.

Unfortunately, your best bet is to stand back and join up with a group such as the Patriot Guard which is an outstanding organization. you do not need to own a bike to attend one of their missions. Just strap a flag to your jeep, car or truck and go to the rally point and link up. They have police escorts most of the time and they do a really good job of showing their support for the servicemember and their family and also of using the 3x5 flags that they proudly display to shield the protestors from the family's view.

If I am around, I may try to get in on this one. Just watch the PGR site. I cannot remember my old member name there, so I signed up again as miljeep.

Just remember to pick up some 3x5 flags with a pole, they are like 10 bucks or so at the PX.

Found an article on another club about this. They apparently went to Tim Russert's memorial service and said he was going to hell and such. A passerby went to the store and bought a poster board and wrote "We Love You Tim" and stood next to them. A viable solution on the 10th? I don't have a bike and my jeep is deadlined. I would love to go if someone is going, if not, I may just hold a sign next to them with positive stuff. Gonna be a self control exercise :)

How about signs that have arrows pointing towards them that say "stupid" and "ignorant". and we can stand on the sides of them.

If your down I am. I'll even make the signs and we can take my car as I don't care if they throw shit at it.

Also, I can have parking and multiple ways in and out via different rides and methods. Helps to know the area :)

I know it sounds fun, but I think that it would turn the event into something that it is not supposed to be. If I went, I would go as part of the PGR and just roll in with them and stand there with my flag doing my part to let the family know that I (we) support them.

When the mission comes down the pipe, I should get an email from the PGR and will let ya know.

Okay. If you don't mind me riding shotgun, I'd like to go. Just let me know what to get.

If the mission is a go, and if I am able to attend, we can ride up together, not problem. The only thing you would need is a 3x5 flag, like the ones they sell at the PX. The big thing is that because of the hard work of concerned Americans, and if I remember correctly, it all started with them protesting some SFC's service, there has been a law passed that states that protestors cannot come within X number of feet of the service. Supposedly PGR had a big part in helping to get that pshed through to those that are able to make it happen. So, if we (as part of the PGR) are not invited by the family to be what would be within the inner perimeter of the service (within that X distance), they do not go. the family must request that the PGR attend, that is why the mission is still in a "watch" status and not a confirmed mission.

Those PGR dudes are really squared away now. They have the missions down to a science and it is great to see those that did not necessarily receive a warm welcome when they returned home, turn around and give a warm welcome to all troops that touch down on American soil again when they get the chance.

Absolutely correct! The PGR is squared away and do a great job. It is best to follow miljeeps advice and tag along with them. I know that if I attended on my own, it would turn out bad for all involved and just give them more ammo to use against us. The PGR helps to keep supporters of our brothers and sisters in check by realizing that we are there to support and honor our fallen and their families/loved ones. The last thing they need is a brawl/bashing during the service. I too am a member of the PGR and if they are asked to provide support, I was planning to ride with them. If we want to organize a showing of support by MILJEEPERS members to Jeep in, I will fall in. It is most important to keep your bearing and professionalism!

I am just waiting for the green light from the PGR, but if you happen to see if before I do, feel free to post the info up. I should have the time off that day would be honored to attend this mission.

I agree with MilJeep also, Patriot Guard Riders does a great job countering these guys. If you want to get involved then hook up with those guys and form a screen with flags so the family cannot see them. Don't make in confrontational though, this is a funeral for one of our own... If I could get away I would join you. Good luck, and if you do get locked up Ill call in some favors and bail you out. Did I mention I work in a jail?

From the PGR Site:

Lt. Col. James J. Walton is the be buried on the hallowed grounds of Arlington National Cemetery.

I have been in contact with the CAO, who placed our request to participate before the family, and the family replied with a heartfelt "Thank you for the offer", but they prefer to have this be a private affair.

This mission is a "Stand Down".

Sir, you have served your country well and made the ultimate sacrifice.
We salute you, and your family for your service.

We will be at graveside in spirit, to guard you on your way!
God speed!
