View Full Version : Non-Jeep: Road Tripping Ireland

My wife and I rented a little car and road tripped Ireland in 5 days. While not an 'expedition' or 'back country' trip, it was an amazing feeling of accomplishment to get our feet wet landing in a country with no reservations except for a vehicle, a road atlas, and a must-see list.

We covered Dublin, Galway City, Limerick, Cashel, Kilkenny, and back to Dublin in our span and spent 850km in a few days behind the wheel of our Nissan Micra (I have shoes bigger than this car).

Day 1 is posted in our blog. I will post Day 2 by then end of the week and hope to have it finished within three weeks. So much happened day by day, I didn't want to overwhelm readers with all the pictures and descriptions. The original post will be updated with links to each day.

Aw man! I better not the 6 see this any time soon!! (not until after my Moab trip, anyway!)

Ireland is tops on our 'Bucket List' of places to go.
