Did Matt's last post officially kill everyone's interest? What's going on here?

I know right? Been real quiet on here. Friday IS supposed to be beautiful, 77 I think. I've got a date with Texas Lake to work on kayak stuff, I found out the hard way rolling isn't as easy as I thought, but I was pretty headstrong and shouldn't have expected to master it on attempt one. Anyway, I'll probably be able to do something any other day. Let me know.

It has definitely been quiet around here. We need to start back up with some get togethers. My Jeep is torn apart waiting on the new parts from Poison Spyder, so I won't be wheeling for a few weeks. But, when I get it back together it's going to be on in full force.

I also will be having a dana 30 available if anyone else needs one. It comes from an 85 CJ7.
Damn... someone get a good deal on some new axles or what? Don't keep it a secret... I want to upgrade too :D
I can get a D44/9" out of an old Bronco for $325 from a guy or wait and save up for some CUCV axles.... hhhhmmmmm.... not sure yet.

Which Bumper are you getting and what was wrong with what you have on there now? I thought you would be saving to upgrade to D60/14b instead of bumpers and fenders.

 Why haven't you bought those yet!?

because I couldn't decide on those or a set from an old CUCV (D60/14b) that would already be geared the way I'd want and locked. I know I can get those for around $1000-$1500. Wasn't sure if I'd end up putting a lot more time and money into the 44/9 than that when all is said and done.
I'm still thinking it over and if he still has them I'll pick them up next Thursday when I get paid...... maybe sooner, we'll see.

I ordered PSC's Trail Stinger and Crusher Corners. I'm going to do some more cosmetic type stuff for a while. I've decided that I'm staying with the axles I have. When I decide to sell this YJ and build something else then we'll see what axles I go with. I want to build a LCG rig next, but I am going to keep messing with this one for a while first.

it will be the axles out of my tj and its bone stock
what axles are you going with George?
