Can't really help you out with just a good mechanic that can work on the bronco, but Irish_assassin, and Hitechredneck were talking about Crazy Eddie as being top notch for anything jeepers/wheelers needed. I looked on the internet and if I found the right place, he does all kinds of performance vehicles from off road to track. Maybe someone else has something to add?

What...no mention of 4wheelparts? :)
How does Ed compare rate wise to other shops around here? If I stick around the Springs a bit longer (*coughjobhuntingcough* ;)), I'll be getting a locker or two...and would definitely need an installer for that.
I called ed on fri seemed like a nice guy but said he was swamped with work right now and couldn't take it on. So I am still on the lookout for a good shop. Does 4 wheel parts do diagnostic work or just installs?

They'll do pretty much anything. Really haven't had a complaint with them so far...but hourly prices might be a bit high. With mil discount alignment runs about $85, which is about an hour.
Good staff there, though. Talk with Dan if possible. Much better to work with than the manager...he tends to upsell a bit more.
I've usually just bought stuff I would be installing myself...buddy of mine had them install a lift, bumper, winch, etc. Looked like good work. Only complaints were on the rear bumper being a crappy MOPAR one, but install was fine.

i know this sounds out in left field but. the big o tire on woodmen and lexington. My friend nick is the manager there and there are some great guys there. tell him that Arin sent you his way and he will take care of you. he is a big time wheeling guy and has owned i think 2 or 3 k5s and at least 2 suburbans and a assortment of jeeps.

I hope you have better luck than me. I have been looking for 6 months now. This place seems to be anti-vet.

Head over to that website...you can register for the fair and it has a list of all of the companies that will be there. Site lists over 80 companies. I plan on going if for no other reason than to get some face time with recruiters as interview practice ;)

There any specific field you plan on working in?
I don't know any good mechanics round here, do most everything myself (maybe thats why I tend to have mechanical issues?) but I do know a great machine shop with excellent rates. I took a vortech 4.3 to Laniers, got em to bore it 30 over, milled the heads, new flat top pistons n' rings, new crank, cam, boiled and painted the block, new freeze plugs n' cam bearings, valve job, oil pump, lifters, realigned the main caps, ect. ect. Cost about $1200. Plus any time I am working on it, or needed a special tool like for pumping up the oil, they let you use it for free. They're great.
