Trail ride ideas?

Any one have any interest in heading down to Shoe Creek (or something relatively stocker friendly) one of these weekends? I know nova's doing a small trip down there this weekend, but with the PA Jeep show and other activities scheduled, it really isn't a good weekend for most.

Maybe early August, like the 2nd or 3rd....

Shoe Creek is just south of Charlottesville.
I've never been there before, but I've heard it's a pretty nice and fairly stocker friendly trail.

If you do a google search on "shoe creek" you'll probably come across past trail reports and ride photos.

Yeah, I was hoping I'd post this and someone that's been there before would respond. Since I've never been there before, I don't think I'd feel too comfortable leading a group through there. There is quite a bit of private property in the area and from what I'm hearing, the forest is having a hard time keeping people on the trails here.

I'm up for going anywhere August 3rd though.
