I sold the XJ last week-end to the son of a Fellow BHJ club member. It was a great ride, but to play with the big dogs I would have to chop it up and dump more money than I wanted. There are many other obsticles I would have loved to be able to do with it.

What do you guys think? I would have kept the boggers, but they don't work well on rocks from what I seen at Jeep Camp 08.

Looks good with the new meat. I'd lose the boxing gloves on your front bumper though. They dont offer any protection and i've seen em get ripped off.

Ok here are some pics of the front bumper I built with the help Brian at Twisted customs. I used that rubberizer paint on the backside and Semi-Flat on the outside. I still need to mount the winch and fairlead rollers.

Next time I go to Iceman I'll stand near the obsticle before anyone engages it. The 3rd one doesn't look that big. When you are standing below or on top you can see the height more.

Pulled out the steering linkage and replaced a dampener as well last night. Took it in for an alignment today. Damn this thing drives MUCH nicer.

Here are some pics after I finally got my winch mounted. I also made some new bars to keep it together and the controller box plate mounted up. I plan on cleaning the winch up and giving it a fresh coat of HiTemp paint.

Friday and Saturday I started and almost finished my Rocker Guards/Sliders. They are almost complete. There was some technical difficulties so it will be another day before they are completely installed. :? Mocked up with a temp paint job for pics! Thanks to Brian from Twisted Customs for the blank rocker guards and bending my tubes. Saved me a TON of money! I still need to cut 4 gussets for the corners and mod the bottoms to fit correctly. I hope to have them done for Iceman 09!
