These things were a pain in the ass to install. I will not get into details but there were these little C-NutClips that were from the factory to attach the Rubicon Sliders that made it a nightmare among other things. Also, once you had installed the receiver to attach the actual sliders, it was another PITA to get the sliders to insert into the holes due to the powdercoat. BUT....Once they were installed, they felt indestructable. One of the coolest things about them is you can release them from the receiver and flip them upside down and they have a double purpose as steps and sliders. The Powder coat is extremely tough but sliding on a rock or 2 is going to chip it off. No problem, Flat Black spray paint is only a few dollars.
I bought these at a steal at a quadratec scratch n' dent sale. I would not have paid $400 + Shipping for them. I think I paid $190 or so.
I would probably buy PSC Rocker Knockers if I hadn't found these.

Bottom line: I reccomend to patient people who will not chuck parts/tools when frustrated about install. These are well constructed sliders. I still suggest shopping around a bit though. Look at the Poison Spider Customs ones before you purchase these.
I will not say PSC Sliders are better because I haven't used them, but PSC anything is pretty frikkin' awesome (and you pay for the awesomeness)

Pros: Very Durable and Attractive Sliders
Dual Purpose Sliders/Steps
Can touch up easily

Cons: Install is a nightmare

MurdaDock, so if I am seeing correctly, those are the extreme reverse a bars from Olympic? (never actually looked @ the unlimited version) I got an 05 TJ Rubi and have been waiting for over a month for quadratec to get them from manufacturer...in fact called today and was told mid May was the ETA for them. I guess my question is: I'm in no way known as "patient"...are these bars really worth the wait?, I like that they can be switched if more ground clearance is needed, and I have a 6" lift and a short GF...lol please advise!!

Yes, those are the reversible ones. I think they are great bars but wish i had purchased the Poison Spider Sliders. BUT, the reversible option is pretty bad ass. I have mine flipped up for clearance but once I put a lift on I am flipping them down so the twins can climb in. Worth the wait, I guess it depends on how long the wait is. I am not patient when it comes to Jeep parts. I'd be losing my mind. If they tell you something crazy, I would cancel and talk to Dave at Dirty Dog Offroad in the vendor forum.

Flipping them is not a process that you want to perform everytime you go on the trail. Keep it one way or the other unless you are making a change like a lift. They make some easily attachable steps now that slip on and off with ease. I am considering having my dad fab some for me.

Well thanks for the info...Quadratec tells me I have a 2 week wait, if they push back the date AGAIN, I'm def looking at other sliders...not sure what's up w/ olympic. If and or when I get them, I'll install them as a step, however if I loose a ton of ground clearance, then the GF will just hafta figure it out, cuz then I'll flip them and use em as sliders...keep in touch, I may need your dad to fab me some steps too, lol

Update: Quadratec shipped them out today, should have them by thurs....can't wait!
