I am from that area, If my memory serves me right there is a hydrofoil boat that will take you to the bahamas and back for 224 bucks. Its either lauderdale or palm beach that it leaves out of.

Thanks for the heads up, but we have to go see batman today plus rehearsal dinner, then wedding saturday leavin sunday. Bahamas do sound fun though.
