Come one come all to the first M&G for militaryjeepers.com. It's going to be at a member referred restaurant of Famous Dave's BBQ.

Since it's a Friday night, we're not going to start early like normal clubs on weekdays. Let's shoot for a start time between 1830-1900.

both drive new JKs one is the camp jeep addition and the other has a 4 inch lift with 35s and a custom drive shaft

Hey, I know I mentioned it earlier, but make sure you get an accurate head count so that you can reserve a table / tables. Also, I am not sure if they do that, you may want to check.

Bring them along. I usually bring my wife and 3 year old daughter, but this time my wife has other plans.

I could probably do that. My 3 year old daughter loves meeting new kids and it would be a better bargaining tool other than "Hey baby, I am leaving for a few hours...have fun with the kids".

UPDATE: Kitchen Pass approved, I will have my 3 year old daughter with me also, which means I will be sporting our minivan instead of my Heep.

What installation are you around? Is anyone else being a recruiter type for this forum? I've stopped and left notes on people Jeeps that I see DoD decals on. Maybe I'm just a little TOO into it....if that's possible.

Well, just got back. It was a good time. Getting the tables sucked because they don't do reservations on fri, sat or sun. I think I counted 17 people. We had some spouses show up and three kids. The BBQ was good and I think everyone had a pretty good time. We even had a camera, and when chris (korisu56) gets back maybe he will post the photo up tonight.

I think that next time we should go to a restaurant or location that does reservations on the day we have it and also choose a spot that can make one long table to fit everyone instead of 3 tables.

Don't forget that anyone can post a meet and greet. Just post the details and see if there are any takers.

I usually try to hit the Beltway Jeepers meet and greets in the DC area on Wednesday night, so if you are interested in doing something on wednesday, they usually hold them every week. Just pm pacifier or 02tj and I am sure they can give you more information or check out the beltway jeepers site.
