View Full Version : Wheeling trip this weekend? May 7th

Hey guys, I know that this section is pretty much dead right now, but I plan on going to either Wishbone Lake/ Buffalo Mine or Hatters Pass on Saturday. I heard that there may be a group going to Buffalo Mine and I'm going to try and meet up with them if my co-worker pulls through. If not I may head out there any way with another guy from work w/ his stock 4dr JK. Call or text me at (612)206-7730 if you want to meet up or have other plans. My wife may be deploying soon pending the F-22 grounding and she'd be gone for some time and want to go wheeling with me once more before she departs. I've been trying to get something planned a bit better and have talked to a few guys on Jeepforum who might join. I'll post any updates as they come, if they come.

Well I was able to meet up with AntBugRacing last Saturday at Lowes on Muldoon. We made our way up to Buffalo Mine and rode the trails a bit and then crossed the street to some of the many trails that head up into the hills untill it got to rutted out. It was overall a fun trip and it was nice to finally meet some people from this forum. Thanks again for coming out, it was nice meeting you two. Have to do it again sometime.

Hey thanks a lot guys we had a great time too! It's nice to get out and do things with other Jeep owners. We're always looking for people and new places to go! Oh and by the way.. Thanks for winching us out when we got stuck! ;)

Hey all, remember the Knik River clean up 4x4 crew is this coming weekend. Some people are heading out Friday night for camping and some are going early Sat morning. Clean up starts around 9 - 10 o'clock. Lunch is supposed to be at noon at the parking lot.

I'm heading out Sat morning around 830 if anyone wants to meet up at the Lowes parking lot on Muldoon. I should be there around 8 or so... CB chan 10, FRS 7, cell 222-3414.
