Cool Tech TailGate Strut for the JK
It went on very easy and has all stainless steel parts with very good directions too. And best of all it keeps the Tail Gate from hitting you when open!

That's pretty cool. I've heard of using the strut from a screen door as weel, but not sure how it was mounted. This looks much better.

I've got something similar for my hood...excellent if you have a lifted Jeep and don't want to deal with the OEM hood lift.
