Rant on:
This past weekend I went camping with the family towards the upper back side of Eagle Rock (about a 1/8 from the last of the real bad stuff, but still need 4x4 to get to it). Come 10 pm Friday night we hear a V8 and metal slamming on rocks, but saw no lights. This guy is wheeling a lifted blue CJ7 (I think) with NO head lights, his girlfriend is using a weak flash light for him to see. The guy goes off trail bc it's too hard for his jeep, breaks trees down and cuts a new path through the veghttp://www.jeepforum.com/ubb/nono.gif To top it off he breaks down right in front of our sitehttp://www.jeepforum.com/ubb/brickwall.gif My dad and I look under his Jeep, his transfer case is bleeding, his exhaust pipe crushed, and you could hear the motor boiling. Anyways, this guy and his g/f rack out for the night a few yards down leaving the Jeep dead-lined right in the middle of the trail.
Now because of this guys stupidity I am now some what responsible for this guy and his girlhttp://www.jeepforum.com/gallery/files//1/0/gunman.gif.
Luckily the next morning a fellow Jeeper was doing the trail and could not pass this guy and was more mech inclined than I was and was able to help this guy get his jeep running. But this still does not change the fact he broke trees and cut new tracks that im sure other people will now use to by-pass this rocky area. I hate people like this.
Rant off
