Chickened out. I'm going to read up more on how to take it apart before I start ripping things out. Added the last one so you guys could laugh at my "garage". I was really surprised at how thin the diff cover was. Definitely gonna have to go.

Man, damn glad i had 3.73s and just replaced the spider gears with that aussie. I dont even wanna mess with gears, it scares me. but hey chris if you need help transport or what ever let me know.

I just got mine back from Eddie yesterday. Wow! what an awesome job. He made a jig that makes the install simple as can be! He welded my brake hose tabs on and stud for the rear brake hose "t". Ill start the LSD build sometime next week. new clutches in the lsd and all new bearings for the carrier and pinion and wheel bearings. Then gotta bent the hard lines and install the caliper hoses. Ill take pics and do a small wright up when I do it.

LSD and Locker can't both be installed. Its one or the other. The parts that Make and LSD and LSD go inside the carrier and still allow spider gear action.

the locker, well dosent and it replaces the whole carrier. Not just the spider gears

I'm not going to put a locker in it just yet because I can't afford the one I want, therefore a LSD will work for now.

Unless, you have a Rubi like I do that has both a limited slip and a rear locker. :D

I was asking why he diddnt install a rear locker like an ARB while it was apart and not on the Jeep yet.

Your Grand is very nice by the way - I have seen pix of it on the NOVA site.
