for anyone that has an older jeep or other vehicle. and has the original chrome that has oxidation on it, this for you. all you need is a simple inexpensive polish, toothpaste! first apply a small amount on the surface, rub evenly in a circular motion. let it sit for about 10-15 min to dry. next take an old rag or toothbrush and reliquify the paste wiht water, then with a dry rag wipe it off. you may have to do this a couple times due to how much oxidation or paste you apply. but when it's done, there is a big difference other than the smell.

on the right is the oxidized one, the kind that you can feel how bad it is
on the left is the toothpaste polished one, smooth and shinny!

Toothpaste works really good for white shoes as well. You will think you have on new ones when you are done with them.
