Who in FN? I can't believe the price they charged you. I could have found that out here and mailed it to you for less...

Somethings are just as easy to get from a stealership. I have never been there and though because they were so big that they would have some decent deals. Guess that is what I get for thinking. Sorry to hear about your troubles.

the dude at fn told me that they are cheaper than harris and the... as sven put it so acurately... the stealership saying its like 300 at the dealer. only bene is that it is brand new. i could of got one at u pull u pay but they didnt have any that fit my zj just older models. but its nice to finally have it so i can fix my lights (hopefully before the meet tomorrow) but we will see i got to find my turn signal that fits the jeep most i find have three notches cut out to mount the bulb and mine only has 2

i know they are huge but i would of thought with being so big and having that many customers that they would have a little better pricing

Hmm, 118 from FN and 300 from the dealer? In retrospect, it sucks but could have sucked worse.

Hmm, 180 still sounds better than 300.

I have never really had a problem with pricing with them. but you do know that tom down there at FN is a wheel and deal kind of guy. he always list a price and then i haggle from there. I have gotten tons of stuff from there. but yes the new overhead does make it more expensive for everyone :-(

when he moved into the new lot and builiding his over head went over head and so his prices changed
this happened about 2 years ago oand from what I hear have gotten even heigher
funy how the gas prices go up
less and less buggies/ jeep/ crawlers seen on the roads
but more off road shops are pooping out of the ground and prices are just ging stupid on parts

It is pretty screwed up. Good thing I don't mind getting parts out of pick and pulls.
that is usually the right price of course somethings may need a few troopers to pick up and put in truck bed
axles
motors
transmissions
jeep tubs.....

they were an actual parts shop in the old building
I haven't dealt with them since they moved from N. Nevada. I can see how they'd have to raise prices, this location has to be costing more.

I went there once looking for some parts and when I came out of the building some A**HAT had put two of their stickers on my rig. I could not believe my eyes! After watching them remove their SH*T from my Jeep I swore never to go back again. And now I have been douchebag free for over two years.

The only reason I haven't been there is because every time they call I get a "We don't have that" answer.

My heep will sit in the front yard on blocks rusting away before I go back to that place.
When I first got out to COS in early 2003 I went to all the shops, including FN and found his prices then were high for what he was selling, used stuff. I also didn't appreciate the fact that he was so quick to bad mouth his competition in town and then went on to tell me how I was building my Jeep all wrong. I bought some stuff from 4 Wheel Parts on South Academy, but most of my money went to Predator on North Nevada and a couple of problems I had was all covered 100% by them, either through Mfg warranty or they covered it because it was the right thing to do. They have some odd ball, misc, used stuff too, you just have to ask as it is not out in the show room. Case in point, I needed to replace the reflector lens on the right front fender flare. I think it was $28 from Faricy and I had to buy both as a set and Predator had one, used for like $6.00. I wish I could find a shop as easy to do business with near Fort Lewis as Predator was in COS.
I've been there two or three times and seemed like every time it was a burden to help out.

I have spent ALOT of money at Crazy Ed's Performance and had some work done to my Jeep there. I have nothing but good things to say about ed. He had good prices on everything I bought so far, and he is a pretty down to earth guy. I havent dealt with any other places because I feel "if it aint broke dont fix it".
Didnt mean to hi-jack too much.

I went there a while back and bought a brand new rear bumber cover for a Grand Cherokee I had at the time because somebody had rear ended me. Every body shop in town quoted me over 700$ to fix the damage. I bought the bumper at FN for about 120$ and fixed it myself. Dudes insurance company paid me almost 800$. I pocketed almost all of that money. Thumbs up to em.
I have got a few things there at a decent price I guess it just all depends but that is ridiculous for a piece of plastic
