need help with engine swap

ok here it is i have a 93 wrangler that had a 4 banger in it the guy put a 4.2 liter in it and had a home made engine harrness in it and was really bad. he blew the engine so i bought it and now i put a 4.2 liter back in it from a 88 took both harrnesses from the other jeep engine and from the dash and cant get it running the plugs are different in side the jeep and dont match up i need to get this thing running who knows what i am talking about.

Fastest way IMHO would be to buy one from painless wiring. they do it all and it works when done with the correct plugs. Truely plug and play.

Otherwise your gonna need some extra ends from both years and a TM to double check wire diams and go to town, along with a set of weatherpack tools kit to take the plugs apart/put together

ya i was thinking about getting a painless wiring kit but didnt feel like spending the money for it. but today i went wheeling and i ran into a guy that is a autotechnician and knows all the wiring diagrams and does diagnostics so i got his number and he is going to do it for me. thanks for the info
