I'm kinda computer stupid. Just to make sure info is getting sent, I'll post here too. I will be at all three locations with one guest. I can't say how jazzed I am about the run, Ive been looking foward to running some of these trails for about four years.

With MJ rapidly approaching, it looks like I will be attending just the GJ portion of MJ. The plan was to do both CO events but that is not in the works.

after much discussion with the wife I think I'll be able to make the Ouray portion. I'll need good directions since I won't be able to leave until after work on Firday, unless someone else is rolling out around 1700.

Cole, pretty easy, from Fort Carson go south on CO 115 to Penrose and then west on US Hwy 50 all the way to Montrose, CO. In Montrose stay on the main street to the center of town and take US Hwy 550 south to Ouray. Once in Ouray go through town and take a right on 3rd Street and then rigth on Oak Street to the 4J's Camp Ground, 790 Oak St, Ouray. It is about a five hour drive going this route. The alternate route if you are north or west of Colorado Springs is to take US Hwy 24 towards Buena Vista and then US Hwy 285 south to US Hwy 50 west. If you are towing this can be faster as US Hwy 50 follows the Arkansas River and is rather curvey. We will be doing the final route decisions Saturday morning so getting there Friday night late won't be an issue.

sounds good. I'm excited to make the trip.

I have to cancel. I ended up picking up a 24 Hour CQ on Sunday, so that really limits my ability to go anywhere. Hopefully next trip I can get out.

Can't go on Friday. baby has some sort of bad rash. wife says he can't be in his car seat too long at a time 'till it heals. we'll see about Sat or Sun. *sigh* finally got the Jeep's high idle fixed, too. running like a champ again. if I can't get up there I guess I'll find something to wrench on Sat and Sun.

Well, we all made it. Some sweet stuff to give out at the drawings. Registration begins at 0700. SP at 0830. This IS a Jeep Mecca for Colorado.

Nice shots Bob, I still think I made the right decision to skip Poison Spider Mesa, because of the heat. If we go to Moab when it's cooler, I'll be sure to ride this trail.
