MVC at Carlisle Truck Nationals!

For those of you in PA or close to Carlisle, PA; this weekend is the 18th Annual All Truck Nationals. It started today and go through Sunday early evening. The reason I posted this is 2-fold:

- A truck we built for a customer is on display indoors in one of the buildings. It is a 1955 F-100 that, in 17 days, we took from a rolling chassis to a running and driving truck. It's dark gray with black running boards.

- My Jeep and Damien's Jeep are on display in "The Mud Room". Last night we went mudding with some local guys with the sole purpose being to get covered in mud for the display. That whole adventure of going mudding with those guys is a separate story/post in itself for another thread.

Anyway, if you are able/around, please come to the Carlisle All Truck Nationals and see our Jeeps!!

We didn't know that they were going to want our Jeeps until Thursday morning and we went wheeling Thursday evening. I would have let everyone know if I had had more notice myself.

All total there were 15 rigs that went. Damien, being the nice guy that he is, was knee deep most of the night running tow straps and hooking people up. I got tapped for recovery duty a couple of times. One time, to recover a Ram 2500, we had to anchor my jeep to a tree with a 20' strap and still pay out almost all of my winch line.
