FYI
4 break in's in three days according to the Ranger. My truck was number 4.
Black male, driving either a silver in color Pontiac grand am or a silver Mitsu hatchback.
He used my stolen credit cards at a gas station on two notch.

Sounds like a good place for a sting....
Bastard.
I watched a "suspicious" person meander in a parking lot at a local grocery store on Friday. He was pushing an empty shopping cart and looking around a little too much IMO. I parked and leaned back in the seat and watched him circle the parking lot. He noticed a vehicle with it's window down and walked along side, then lit up a cigarette. He quickly jabbed his hand through the open window to test to see if there was a proximity alarm (there was not). I called the local PD and told them what was up, that I was watching him and would let them know when he committed to either stealing the car or taking something from inside. Right as I called another car pulled into the parking lot in front of the car he was casing... then the owners of the car next to it came out of the store. He didn't have a chance with all the activity. I asked the dispatcher to tell the units to wait for him to commit but either they didn't get the message or didn't care and pulled up. They caught him with some stolen stuff from the grocery store, warrants and a history of BMV. Sucks that they didn't wait just a few minutes so he could have gotten a solid case pinned on him. I spoke to the officers and they seemed happy with catching the guy.... I thought it was a pogue move to jump out on him before he committed but whatever. He took a ride to jail and someone didn't have to deal with their stuff being stolen.
Sorry to hear about your truck. They could at least put out a game cam or something....

Thanks Mr. Ron... funny you should say that. Video surveillance and a deer camera did him in- arrested today. At least he'll be off the streets for a little bit.

Good news.... He will be back at it again as soon as he gets out. Need an owner to catch him.
