My wife and I took a last minute trip to Uwharrie National Forest in North Carolina. We love going there. The place has a lake, a range, horse trails, and hiking trails. The OHV trails there are two difficult trails, and the rest are moderate and easy. The place is just a good time all around. Camping accommodations range from full Rv hookup sites to primitive camping on the trail system. It is about a 5 1/2 drive from here, but well worth it. I will try and update as we go through the stuff. As for the winch, the Jeep sat for a year while I was deployed and didn't work. Took it off to go through it and could not get it to work. So it is sitting on my bench. Uwharrie is always a good place to have fun and hit some trails. You will always see someone do the proverbial "Hold my beer and watch this!" moment.
