Amazing what 2 inches of lift will do for one's ego! Had a 2" budget boost and recently upgraded to a 4" Fabtech suspension lift. Actually, I ended up with about 5" of lift -- don't know why but I'm not complaining. I'm told the Jeep will "settle" over time.:D

Nice.....:D. Mine will be either this fall or spring. Right after the Jeff Daniels Jeep Show in September. Want to go 2" lift and 33" tires. Only tough part is on weekends at the end of the day I have to grab the hand grips to pull my tired butt in and out of it.....Getting Old Sucks....LOL:eek:

Excellent, you'll really enjoy the ride, not to mention the looks.

BTW, at the same time I bought the Fabtech lift kit I also purchased a set of grab handles. They're made to hang from the roll bar. My intention was to use them to help swing myself into my seat. Well, I must have had a brain spasm when I bought them, because I totally forgot about my Bestop safari top. With the top on, I can't very well velcro the grab handles around the bars, can I?!

So, being the high-speed warrant officer that I am, I found another solution to getting into my rig -- a trampoline! :D

Isn't the safari top like the bikini.... you should be able to slide it into your surrounds just like the regular full top.

Where are you going to mount your trampoline? Post pics when you figure it out!:D

The safari is like a bikini top. However, it wraps around the surrounds and secures with Velcro to itself. So, it's impossible for the grab handles to wrap around anything. Bummer. I ended up putting them in the back, so my 9-year-old son and his friends can grab onto them as then scramble into the back seat. The safari top leaves just enough bare roll bar for me to do that.

Looks good. I was going to go allout and get a 5.5 inch lift but I like the way yours sits.

Here's a little follow-up to my original post....since I added the 4" suspension lift I had my first true offroad experience at a place called Rausch Creek in Pennsylvania. I'm sure some of you have heard of it. It's sort of the DisneyWorld for wheeling. Anyway, the 4" suspension lift was excellent. Even though I only have 33" tires (and not really very wide either), I was able to hang with the big boys, and I even tackled a few Black Diamond segments.

Haven't figured out where to mount the trampoline just yet. :D

Just FYI I have the 2" BB and 1" BL with 33x12.50 and I get a little rubbing up front on a good flex.
