A really good friend of mine's daughter needs a heart trans plant again, she received one when she was 8 and is now 21. She went in to the hospital last week with chest pains and is now on life support. Their family has been through so many difficult times yet any one of them would give you the shirt off their back with out hesitation. Even though he's one of the Jeep wanna-be FJ40 guys he still pretty cool. Praying for you and your family Chris.

At the age of 8 a young girl's life was saved with a heart transplant... Today she's 21 and on life support, in need of another heart.
Alyssa Sandeen from Mankato is one of over 100,000 people waiting for an organ transplant in the United States.

Now her life is put on hold...
Last week she went to the hospital with chest pains... her heart stopped beating less than a day later and now she's on life support.
"We had no idea on time wise," said Alyssa's father Christ Sandeen, "Try not to even think about it."
When Alyssa was 8 she was lucky enough to receive a heart transplant, it saved her life then and now her family is hoping for another miracle.
"We're not as rushed for time this time because she's not on a heart and lung machine but it's... time is still very critical," said Chris Sandeen.
The Sandeen's know that things can change in the blink of an eye...
Just this past September around Alyssa's 13-year anniversary of her transplant she had a check up and things looked good.
"4 day check up in Rochester and she did great," said Chris Sandeen.
They say Alyssa is near the top of the heart organ donor transplant list... nationally there's over 3,000 people waiting with her.
The fact that she's on life support has bumped her up the list but there's still people ahead of her.
That's why the Sandeens wish more people would be Organ Donors.
"Like I say it's not just something on your drivers license it's something you need to talk about with your family," said Chris Sandeen, "and I'm hoping people can spread the word."
Her family and friends are trying to spread that word through their facebook and caring bridge pages... while they hold onto hope for Alyssa.
This afternoon the breathing machine for Alyssa was temporarily turned off and she was breathing on her own for a short period of time.
Alyssa was able to respond that she's in a lot of pain and is now back under sedation.
As of November 4 this year there have been 42 heart transplants in the state of Minnesota according to the U.S. Department of Health and human services Organ Procurement and transplant network.:flag:
