i have the smittybilt xr8, only used it once but for 300 bucks it did fine

I run the same winch, and after 1 decent pull and two hard pulls(+snatchblock), all is well.

I went to buy the XR8 at 4wheelparts and they were out....as usual. They didnt have squat on the shelves of that place. I asked about ordering and they said everything from smittybuilt is about a month out. Now that I see the xr10 I may wait for it.

I've got a Champion 7500, got it for under $250 at Sam's Club over three years ago. Had it on my Toyota for awhile, now on the CJ. It came wih a mounting rail (universal) controller an snatchblock. Been used and abused and still going strong. I replaced the motor, $99 shipped, becuase of corrosion inside, it died. So, $350 in it so far, I'm happy with it.

I dont have one yet but you can get the smittybuilt ones on ebay for the same price as 4wheel parts, and shipping on some weren't to bad either

i'm not sure but i think they went out of buiness when i got mine i tried to get one from them (i think it was them)
