Sat 30 Aug, I'm gonna start the engine swap on my tow rig. Shouldn't be to bad as I'm swapping in the same engine size and type.

If I don't finish, I'll probably be working Sun 31 Aug as well.

Let me know if anyone wants to swing by and lend a hand.

No I'll be at Truck's Garage aka my driveway...but there will probably work to be done on Sunday as well.

Yeah, I know it is a holiday weekend and there is a trail ride. But this is the only time I really have to get this done. I was hoping somebody else might be home with idle hands that would rather wrench and get fed.

it is a big maybe my wife is on the pennsylvania turnpike with a bad clutch fan and it keeps over heating on her i am about to light a match under it but if they get home to night i dont see a problem

Even though I've gotten a lot done this week (engine/tranny out of parts Blazer, engine accessories swapped) I still have a lot to do. With yesterday's wash out, nothing more got done. I'll be wrenching all day today if someone wants to swing by. Gotta drop engine in and bolt it up, replug everything back up (hoses & wires), radiator back in, tranny & transfer case back in, driveshafts, starter, batteries and hope it starts up. and runs.

Well, I got the engine in and all the electrical, fuel, oil/tranny cooler lines, radiator and hoses hooked back up. I'm gonna play hookie tomorrow and try to get the tranny/transfer case in.
