roll cage mounted speakers

i am looking for speakers to mount on my new cage (not stock) and looking for suggestions in what to buy i am looking for something 4 ohm and i don't have an amp yet (i will get that to match the speakers)

and i know basically nothing about any audio speakers and head (i can wire it and it will sound like shit) units so any advice will be accepted as the truth

Check into some wakeboard speakers. You can find them at pretty much any descent boat shop or on-line. I would stay away from anything on ebay as you won't know the quality. Good ones can be pricy but if you look around you may find a deal. The best part is they are made to be exposed to the elements so the weather won't be as much of a factor when you run topless. If they are priced too high I've seen write ups on guys using marine speakers and pvc pipe to make thier own. If I find the link I'll post it up. Come spring time I may try my hand at fiberglass and try to make a custom sound bar for my CJ.

i have been looking at wake board speakers there was a guy on pirate selling some for cheap but he said the quality went to shit so he does not recommend them any more so i am looking for something
