Hello, I'm going Reserve in March and was wondering if anyone here has paid to ship a second vehicle? I bought my Cherokee here in Germany and want to take it back with me. Who did you go through? What experiences did you have? What did you have to pay? Anyone have things broken on their vehicle or items stolen? I am waiting on a quote back from a company called Rinkens Logistics. My shop chief had a good experience with them after TransCar couldn't accommodate him. I read what few reviews I could find on the the about them but like anything the only people who take the time to write them usually have bad things to say. Thanks in advance for any info or advice given.
I am looking into shipping a car also well in '13. Trans Car's quote was pretty steep but i guess it was about the same as everywhere else i looked there is a place in Rotterdam that does not seem too bad.

I'm watching this too... I just saw a Unimog radio van in a junk yard and it got me thinking... lol
done it a few times. Just make sure that you have a clear title (or title with a lean and bank note stating they know you are shipping), valid insurance and valid safety inspection along with your orders. If you have all of this you are good to go....along with the money to ship a second vehicle. If you dont have money to ship a second vehicle but need to....get in touch with your local Navy shipyard. They usually have ships that are heading somewhere that they also use to transport sailors cars instead of paying the shippers to move them. I saw once an Air Craft Carrier deck where it was heading from One of the Pacific Islands with nothing but cars along the deck! haha
