I am going to look at some new axles for the jeep. Found a guy that has a GM 14 bolt rear and a Dana 44 front, he's asking 300 for the pair. I asked him and they aren't frozen or anything, said he was going to use them under a scout or something and never got around to it. Now he just wants to get them out of his garage. Hopefully they will be in good shape. Either way they are a steal. Wish me luck!

Gonna go pick em up Monday afternoon. Got into an argument w/ the 6 element about why I needed new axles. She just didn't understand. Took me a little while to explain it to her. Finally got the ok and the guy is still holding em for me. I don't think I'm gonna put em in right away though. Gonna take the time to clean em up and possibly see about prepping them for a coilover setup. So that when I do put em in I'll have everything the way I want. We'll see.

Got em, and damn they are heavy. Esp that GM 14. God my back is hating me right now. Everything on em moves beautifully, even the locking hubs on the 44. Also turns out Dustin, the guy I bought these from, is ex service, and a jeeper. So I clued him into our site and he seemed fairly interested in checking it out. We need cards dammit!!!
