all right here it is after six years of the jeep I'm finally getting a new tub on the beast. The Day after i got her i rolled her. and it was my deployment present to myself so needless to say its outlasted my first wife. my wife now knows how much it means to me couldn't have a greater wife as she aids in my Jeep obsession by buying parts and letting me do whatever. So enough of that here it is.

this is what im starting with and trying to get as much done as i got my school date in april. trying to get it pushed back to July/ August as my wife is due in May.

like i said my wife aids in my addiction so she bought me another jeep for the tub its straighter than mine and not as many dents and dings. rough spots yes but its straight. on my red tub it was kinked so my hard doors were starting to get messed up and not work right.

i have an electric fan in the red jeep problem was i was having issues when wheeling the fan since it was held to radiator through plastic straps that go through radiator would tear up the radiator. I really didnt see spending hundreds of dollars on a shroud wasnt sure was going to work. so tried to make my own for price of sheet at lowes

thanks. the running boards were a real b$#@# to get off

after i was done playing with the radiator shroud i had to really see the body that i was getting. this tub is straight compared to mine where was having trouble with doors after while.

removing the fuel tank. something i learned never ever trust the fuel gauges as i found out the fuel tank was full.

removing the body mounts was aggravating and i learned a lot more patience here. These things did not want to come out without a fight, so needless to say going to need to get new grade 8 body mount bolts from lowes.

@ Reaper no hes a boxer. hes the runt so hes four and just squeaked past fifty pounds.

well havent been on lately but here is the update. my school date has been pushed back thank goodness so will be here for our first born boys birth. I finally got the other jeep gone and out of the driveway so now the city of killeen can get off my a#$ about parking over the sidewalk.

weld them rust spots, add some tender loving grinder work, maybe a side order of bondo, and top it all off with new paint outside and rhino inside!!

Yep those are the ones, let me know what you want for them. I had the longer ones like those but had to take them off when I put the 304 with fender headers in the Scrambler, hopefully the smaller ones will fit.

finally got it to sean's at TX PRO 4X4 cant wait for cage. Thanks for the help Sean now to order the steering and wiring harness.

got the black spare on because im redoing my alum rims. ill put up some pics and stuff of that. they havent been touched in years my fault and have white rust on them so got that rim and tire in garage going through the process.

I left my carpet out after bedlining. Stuck the front carpet back in (cut it off right behind the seats) when I drove it to Moab.

Helped a little with the noise/heat of driving 12+ hours a day.

I put the hood grille and fenders on the CJ but now its sitting kinked and seems as though the grille bolt doesnt want to come out. so prob. going to have to cut it out. do any of you guys know the bolt that goes in i know it has what looks like another bolt on the threads or something. stuck. but on a better note looking up new gauges and new dash to put in before i either attempt the wiring or have TXPRO 4X4 tackle this beast for me.

today after work im going to yank the air conditioner out and pull the compressor off the engine. have to pull the dash off also to see what for sure im going to go with.
