This is an old post but I'm in Prattville...There are several rides coming up at Gray Rock ORV and Morris Mountain. Let me know if you are interested. I'm looking for wheelin' partners too.

well guys that's sound great. i am trying to get a jeep club - of sorts - started in the montgomery/prattville/wetumpka/milbrooke area. the only problem is that i am currently deployed to Iraq and not due to redeploy until May time frame. Let's actively work this tho!

I'm going to school at Maxwell AFB...I'll only be here until June though. Too bad because I really like the area. I didn't know there was an MP unit here. Should have known though, I think the primary industry here is the police as Prattville has a million of them!:eek:

There's a ride at Morris Mountain the weekend of 13 March. I'm trying to make that one so if interested let me know. I will be posting some stuff on it at my website, www.***************** (http://www.*****************). I'll be returning from Chicago that day so will probably not get away from Prattville until about 1700. Plan is to have the Jeep loaded and ready to go. Already have one other from Maxwell going so come on over and we'll ride up together.

I run a website and would happy to help out. It's called ***************** but is certainly not restricted to Army folks...anyone interested in wheelin' the back roads is welcome. If you'd like to use my forum and photo gallery to support a club in the area feel free. I just ask that any pics added to the photo album are compressed to conserve storage space. Let me know how I can help out... a club in the area sounds great as I've seen plenty of Jeeps and other offroad vehicles in and around the area.

Good luck in Iraq...I spent 14 months in the garden spot of Mosul. Got back in Dec 07. Unfortunately I'll only be here in Prattville until this June then I'm headed to Louisiana for a few years. Let me know when you get back so we can linkup and do some wheelin'.
