Im Alex, otherwise known as JeepinSoldier from the Beltway Jeepers and Jeep Forum sites.

Im a SFC (P) in the Army. I work at the Hoffman in Alexandria, VA as the senior career advisor doing assignments for Construction Engineers. Before that I have mostly been a Paratrooper at Fort Bragg in the 82nd Airborne Division and 5 years at the 20th Engineer Brigade. Also been assigned to FT Stewart, Germany and Hawaii. Deployed to Iraq twice, Kosovo, and Afghanistan once each.

Got my Jeep on Mid tour leave from the last Iraq tour. I have an 05 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon with a few mods. Bought it over the Internet and phone from in theater. The R&R plane landed in Atlanta and the dealership (Landmark DCJ) sent a courtesy van to pick me up then I drove it back to FT Bragg.

Hope to meet a few new Jeepers here! I already know MilJeep, Korisu, and 02TJ.

Yeah, I would like to go - but I gotta slave for Jeep parts and spring/summer wheeling gas money.

Planning on hitting the trails starting in the spring. By then I should have the belly up installed, new steering, soft doors and some other goodies.

Nice. my jeep part buying spree has come to a halt. the last thing I bought are the headlights you suggested. No more goodies for me until I win the lottery.

Um, yeah. You bought as many parts in 3 months as I got in 2 years! :)

You do need 35's though with those RE4.5" springs. Of course that leads to 4.88's and lockers....... :D

How do you like the headlights? Notice any difference from stock?

I really like mine. One of the best mods I have done to the Jeep, and they get used evrey night.

we had our jeep about a year and a half and did not do anything to it other than a budget boost. I just waited and looked around to see what I really wanted or needed and then got. I did do a good job finding coupons online before ordering. I used the heck out of those 20% off at JCwhitney coupons. I saved a lot on my tires and wheels. It came out much cheaper than buying them from quadratec and other sites.

I just installed that sport cage. I got a really good deal on it from the manufacturer.

I was looking at the pix of the cage you posted here on this forum. It looks really great and you did a good job installing it.
