I need to put a new vent on my hood, anyone want to do some major cutting with me? I have to paint the vent / louvre first, but if this is not done right the first time, I am screwed.

They sent me this huge piece of paper that looks like it was created with CAD so I have a pretty good template for the cutting. We could do it Sat...that could be interesting.

Ryan, I have the PROPER TOOLS to do that cutting with, so don't break out the dremel. I'm more than willing to help for the low low cost of your other hood vents! :D

Did you go with different vents? the ones I sent weren't what you were looking for? Sorry bout that if so. Good luck, but nothing to it but to do it. Measure 5 times cut once

The vents I bought from you did not sit flush on the hood. In order to sort of pull them down, I had to run screws up from the bottom. The amount of plastic that the screw could go into was so little that some of the screws ended up poking out the top a little. The vents look good from a few feet away, but when you get right up to them, you can see that they don't sit flush.

I wanted the Poison Spyder Louvre, but they seem to take forever to get that product out, so I ordered the AtoZ fab version a few days ago. It looks really similar to the Poison spyder one I wanted, but it was cheaper, had free shipping and they actually have them in stock.
