ok all this is where we will post up what cherity we feel deserves our donation this year. Remember that the Charity must be a NON-PROFIT and must provide support or help to wounded Veterans.

I will update this post with each new suggestion

Real American Heroes (http://www.reelamericanheroes.org/index.html)

Since at least 30 people looked at this post and no-one posted any other options for a charity to donate to it looks like a vote is not needed. I will contact the Real American Heroes after we set a date for the event to see if they are able to make it out for Camp MJ 2015.

Sounds like a solid plan, I don't know how much I can help out this year with all that is going on. I still have all the rolls of tickets that I bought for last year.

My company donated to USO a few years ago - they were very helpful and appreciative unlike wounded warriors.
Fisher House Ive heard good things about.

Ok all I looked a little closer at the Real American Hero's and they are a fishing only events. So I decided to look at one that is about helping the wounded warriors. I have contacted http://www.4w2h.org/ 4 Wheel to Heal. 100% of their donations go to running events and bringing wounded warriors to their events. I am just waiting for a response from them.

If anyone has an open seat in their rig please post up so that we know how many ride-along's we can provide.

I should have an open seat as long as I can get a motor in Snafu by the date

I am good for one open seat

I have contacted the people at the site but they have not gotten back to me. we may have to go with the same Charity that we donated to last year. I personally don't care what Charity we donate to as long as they are non-profit.

Is 4w2h the same as what I suggested in the other post (in s.e. Section?) wheelers for the wounded (or something of that nature?). I'm terrible at remembering which charity is legit and which ones aren't.

I think we are just going to go with the same charity that we gave to last year. Paralyzed Veterans of America. It is easier. and we know they are legit.
