Surely somebody not on the east coast has something to say about a meet and greet.

05warrior,
Fort Lewis, has a lot of possibilities, and is a good central location for going other places. Just watch out for range control. lol.

JonJeff, I have no clue where that is. When is the best time for you to do a M&G??

it is about 2 hours south of Fort Lewis, depending on the lead foot.:D

my little four banger can only do 55, so the foot doesn't really come into play

Yeah, Michaels' right... I'm about 2 hours south of Ft. Lewis. If you know the trails, I would love to come up. I work a 4on/4off schedule. Work F/S/S/M this week, have T/W/TH/F off next week... you get the picture.
Well if you guys want to wheel some good trails come on over here.
I need to fix my Jeep but I shoud be rolling here again pretty soon.
Close to Ft Lewis is a few places to play. I don't know the trails close by anymore but I am sure I could find some folks to show us around.

I wish m'Becky could still do 55. Give me a couple days notice so I have time to get down there.

I have duty this coming weekend. Are you still trying to do a thanksgiving weekend run? I'm going out late season crabbing(leave it alone Jeff) one day but I have no other plans.

I was looking at my work schedule... I don't have a weekend off until Fri 12/5 and Sat 12/6... then Fri 12/12, Sat 12/13, Sun 12/14. And that's getting close to Christmas.

How about Dec. 1st? Most servicemembers should have that day off for the thanksgiving weekend.

Should be good. Any idea where to have it? Do you want to wheel or just kick it?
So I got boned as of now we aren't getting any time off for thanksgiving.

So... being the uncoordinated dork I am... I fell last night and broke my ankle. Totally sucks, and its my right foot! Fortunately my Jeep is an automatic. I wouldn't mind coming up to the Ft. Lewis area. I'm trying to get another MJ buddy cdalfson to join us. What about any others? Were we going to do any wheeling, or just hang out? Regardless, ANYONE with an MJ sticker on their ride is alway welcome at our home!

I think we should just do a get together, then do a ride later on.

Sounds good... Since I think there are more member's in the Ft. Lewis/Oly/Bangor area I would suggest somewhere up there...

I figured this would be a good place to post this. For you guys up by the Puget Sound, a good place to find parts for the jeeps and trucks in general is Oly4x4.com. It just occured to me while looking thru the different posts today..

Well Jon, it appears that we are the only two interested. I've gotta go to see Bill Engvall in Tacoma at 1930 so we can meet halfway or something

Wange ContWo, Wange ContWo, We have a Wabbit on the Wange; We're gonna git that waskie wabbit.
Army Tankers may have heard simular fire commands during their gunnery days (I'm showing my age) with this example... Gunnner!; HEAT!; MEAT!; Azmith (whatever) 1500 (range), gunner response, ON THE WAY! TC response, FIRE!... results variable

I was poking fun at Range Control operations everywhere... Think of Elmer Fudd when reading the first part (replace the w's with r's).
Second paragraph was a real life incident of a tank crew engaging cattle on the range, common occurance at Fort Hood. The acronym HEAT = High Explosive Anti-Tank round.
