I don't have much need for a snorkel, as try and stay out of deep mud and water (used to do the mud bog thing with a F150) However I just put a MC2100 carb on, and I'm thinking of doing a cold air type intake, instead of the usual 9'' open element air cleaner. Thinking of fabbing up a top for the carb that I can hook up a tube to. Then again, a snorkel gets your intake out of the dust also.

I like the video, did that wit a H1 when the Army first got them in '86, it hd like 500 miles on it! My CW4 wasn't to happy:)

I like how the winshield wipers come on about halfway thru the vid while the windshield is still completely underwater. LOL.

The rest of the electronics in that thing will never be the same.......

Any way, ask Gonzo on Beltway if you need a snorkle or not! :p

I have personally seen two Jeeps hydrolock the engines causing major damage. My heep has a snorkle.

They like to bash snorkles on Jeep Forum as a poser mod. Better to have one crossing that water or mud hole I say........
