Nice, it is always nice when people move around to somewhere they want to go. I am sure that we will be able to get together and wheel some.

Welcome to Colorado. There are lots of trails here but bring a coat! Tonight it will be well below zero and the high today was about 10F.:(
I hesitate to drive the ragtop since I don't want to crack it. Heater works just fine though.:D

Just got here... 1100 miles and over 600lb of cargo and the Heep made it no problem... Well... 600lb of junk and a lower shock mount paid the price, nothing a retchet strap couldnt fix.

Nice to see you made it. Looking forward to meeting you. Like Ken said, we have a M&G on the 22nd, and the morning of the 21st, coffee and wheeling.

Yeah, welcome to Colorado. I just recently arrived too, actually, I was inprocessing at Replacement just two weeks ago, so if you have questions about how things run, let me know. I also work literally one block East of the Welcome Center so if you need something, let me know. I check this board probably 10 times a day at work. Oh, and if you are wanting to research the trails around here, the best site, in my opinion, is www.traildamage.com. It has trail ratings, locations, and pics and videos. Well, hope to see you at our M&G.

Thanks for the welcome... Im planning to go to the M&G and the coffee and wheeling, thats if I get to fix the shock mount, but I still go to thr M&G. I need dht directions to a weight station, so if anyone can point me in the right direction it will be apreciated. I have not sign in to post yet but I plann to do it tomorrow, how long is the inprocessing for post???

Inprocessing is a scheduled 4 days, broken down by days. You start out as Day Zero, then Day 1, and so forth. On forth day, you show up in PT's because you'll go to CIF and get issued TA-50. They also tell you to wear spandex or form fitted clothing as well, because they will have you strip down to underwear and get scanned by a machine so they can fit you properly. However, depending on how many people are inprocessing you could possibly be a day zero for a couple days, like I was. As for a weight station, I don't know where one is. Sorry. Any more questions, you can PM me.

I'm pretty sure that there is a weigh station at the truck stop south of gate 20. Basically, take I25 south, and the next exit after gate 20, get off, make a right and the truck stop is there. It's a pretty good sized one. I think that the road it's located on is Sante Fe.

this is a weigh station on Carson. and on academy just outside of post there is one.
Congrats on Carson! I was there for over 4 years. You're gonna love the hippies and hardcore televangelists! ;)
J/K, Ft Carson is a great post. Dont forget to check out Royal Gorge, Garden of the Gods, and Gold Camp Rd. There is so much to do out there that costs nothing.
Have fun!
