Dang Jeepin! I wish I had that 'Junk" in my driveway!!

I relly like the 'slinky effect' in the last pic. I may have to break down and get me a Jeep with the 'new fangled' suspension!

Thanx all. Its a work in progress. So many mods. So little money.......

Nick, the rear swingaway and the frame mounted rock sliders were made by a company called Jeeperman. They made great stuff but the company was not managed that well. They are out of buisness now. The Rock Hard 4x4 swingaway is an almost exact duplicate of the design, including the latch. Thier can carriers look the same. Elevatorguy on the Beltway site has the Rock Hard version of this bumper. With the snubbers remounted properly, neither the Jeeperman or Rock Hard swingaway rattles.

If I had to do it again though, I would prob buy one from Beserk. He fabs some increadible bumpers for alot less than the big names, and he really stands behind his work.

I don;t mean to hijack the post, but I would recommend that anyone looking for a bumper for their TJ check with eddie (BESRK (http://www.militaryjeepers.com/community/member.php?u=89)) first. He offers some stuff on his ebay page which can be found at http://www.groundpounderfab.com but it is always better to shoot him a pm or send him an email and just work it out that way. You will get exactly what you want at a superb price.

My rear bumper with swingout does not rattle or make any noise. It is very very sturdy and most people that look at it and see how well it is made, ask me where they can get one. Eddie took my order and I had a custom bumper in my hands a week later. He helped us on the phone when got stumped on one part of the install and he has been there for me when I had to order a replacement latch that got bent by a garage door closing at the shop (by mistake). Plus, he just retired from the army halloween of 2007, so he treats the military well. :)

Man I had a hard time opening this thread the title. I really didn't want to see 'random pictures of Alex's Junk' :eek::eek::eek: Had it been anybody else I would have never opened it.

I have to say that is one bad a$$ rig. Its nice to see what my "junk" will look like when it passes its stock disease form.
