Its a GPS messenger. You can send location blips to Google maps, call for help, or send out a 911 emergency. costs 159.00 on other sites(this one had the best write up) and then its 9.99 a month to have it active. I think this should be something we all need to think about for when we get out on the trail alone or in small groups

Man, thats awsome! That will not only save lives, but thousands of dollars and man hours in search and rescue situations. And give piece of mind to family and friends when your out in the puckerbrush with no cell phone service!

I'm thinkin about getting one. It could be cool to have it for the club, that way we can track trails for other clubs and not need a trailguid, just program way points at every turn or something. and then we can all see it.
