I just want to say I'm sorry about the late notice but I just recently found this place!
There is a pretty good sized group of us (6 Jeeps) going out to Anza Borrego on Sunday. I know its bad timing since it is a football holiday with the Chargers still in it but we have a guy that is terminally ill and this is his last trip. Anyway, here are the details (copied from my post on Jeepforum). This is gonna be a somewhat easy run because we have 2 stockers with us. South Coyote Canyon is a possiblity as well but don't count on it.
If you are at all interested shoot me a PM either on here or JF (same name).

Meet in Ramona @ 9:00AM in the Albertson's parking lot. Rick can possibly meet us at the 78/S2 interchange so he isn't doubling back.
Head out and run SC26 (gotta find the trails exact name, this is the books number). It sounds fun with it being an easy sandy wash turning to steep inclines with a "possibility of damaging the sides of your vehicle if you slip sideways on the loose surface."
That trail dumps right into the Calcite Mine Trail. It is described as "challenging short trail requiring an excellent vehicle and an experienced driver" and "panoramic views from the Salton Sea to Mexico." Run this all the way to Calcite Mine.
Finish off by running Arroyo Salado Trail. It is a fairly easy run that travels through 2 different oasis areas and Hawk Canyon. This will put us right on the 78, just east of the 78/S2 interchange.
