:) E5EDDIE sold his soul for Jeep parts....
Highrock bumper, grill guard, d rings and PE8000 winch are on the way, should have it all at the house by the end of the month, anyone think they can give a hand on the install? Plan on doing the work at FT Belvoir shop.
I have most standard hand tools available, but any idea about what I might need to install the winch? Next month getting my lift, nothing too crazy, just going up 2" for now to keep DD functionality. Figured it's already capable of getting stuck, start with self recovery mods and move up from there, then get a belly tuck and some armor!

I would be happy to help if needed and if I have the time off. Also, do you still want that budget boost since I saw you have a 2 inch lift coming. If not, just give me a heads up because there is someone on this board that had asked for them and still wants them.

Ah hell fellas, think I'm tearing up! F'n camadrie man, they will never understand! Really appreciate the offers of help and I'll pop a flare when it's all here, thanks so much y'all, Ryan, I'm sorry I never picked them up, was down at Ft Pickett the last couple of weeks, I'd forgotten and hell, I'll still take 'em if it's ok, maybe we can install them at the same time? Will I need any extra parts like bolts or bumpstop extensions etc that you know of? thanks again all,
Ed

Would anyone be available to help me put my new springs and winch on this Sunday? Honestly, you'd just be protecting the Jeep from my questionable wrenching skills, do it for the Jeep.:D

No worries bud. My phone's on 24/7 and the only time I don't answer really is when I'm in the shower. Looks like I'll be working on it all day, but we can definitely work something out because like I said I'm on leave. Winch we can do in the drive way, springs aren't hard as well.

Major thanks and appreciation to Chris (korisu56) for helping put my new springs on the Jeep and also for helping mount my winch...looks great and looking forward to seeing how it feels/works on the trail. I owe ya brother, call me first if you need a hand. Found out that if you have a Bestop Highrock front bumper and the guard bar for it, it won't fit over the control box on a PE8000 Mile Marker winch. Semper Gumbi, I had to fabricate an extension plate at home to relocate the control box about 4" back towards the grill to make room to access the remote plug port and clear the bar. My first real mods came with my first (minor) fabrication, it's all back together and the lights are mounted too, what a day!
