Stock 258 help

Trying to hook up the stock 258 wiring harness to the 258 I swapped into my green 83 Scrambler (motor and harness also out of an 83). Harness came off this motor, but I didn't do it so I can trace most of the wires except the one below.

It comes from here (some vacuum solenoid on the carb...not sure what it does :o ).

So I can't find where this wire connects, so if somebody can look at their stock motor and let me know I would appreciate it.

Also, I need to know where the the below Vac/solenoids bolt on to tub or engine. I didn't pull it off so I don't know where to put it back.

PIC-3.. The selenoid bolts to the firewall right behind the engine as high as it can go. You should see the stock holes. I'll go home and look at mine to see about the other two pics

#1 looks like it might be a ground but its red so i dunno good luck i've been trying to figure the 258 out since i got mine going on a year

It is actually a pink wire. I thought it was red at first as well.
