looking into doing a day trip when i am back home. either 1st weekend or 4th weekend will be in oregon for the other 2. tahuya is allright but i would like to go somewere else if possible. let me know, i pick my jeep up on the 5th from the docks.

Is Walker Valley too far for you? 4th week in Feb. everyone I know up here on Whidbey should be home from det., and my four wheel drive is finally mostly working.

walker valley sounds good to me, i have no clue were it is at though. i look for it today. ill be in tacoma, so everything and nothing will be to far. i have been on an island for 3 years so it will always seem like a long drive, but its all right.

have you seen any stock 4dr rubi's up there yet. wife would kill me if i broke something just before i leave.

haven't seen that, but nirad85 wheeled his stock TJ up there for a couple years. You just have to be a little more picky with your lines.

yeah, stock tj with 98" wheelbase compared to stock jk of 116" wheelbase. i would definatly have to choose my lines well.

Looks like you have the longest drive and we'll be having a convoy out of Oak Harbor, so let us know what's good for you.

Shasta: I've been wanting to try tahuya for awhile. Maybe next trip?

well i was finally able to look at a map with the loction of walker valley. i can make it there but i will head up on friday evening and find a place to stay.

Ah I got my Heep around Walker with no clutch for over a year. You'll be fine. :beer::D

Yeah just take off in low range 2nd gear and forget about your clutch. Darin needs a clutch in his TJ soon too we can make a day of it or something. Mine wasn't hard to install.

That'd be cool. I've never worked on my clutch before so that'll be a first for me. I might be getting a flywheel too since this ain't the first time I've had clutch issues. The last clutch I had freaking wore away quick cause the previous owner didn't know how to drive stick. My mistake for this one was to buy a cheap ass replacement that wasn't worth a damn. Should've stuck with Luk kits.

Oh and I took the Jeep into Precision auto to have the clutch replaced that time...

Hey, for everyone here in Whidbey, where are we meeting up and at what time? I have to muster at 8 so anytime after that would be cool. I'm still waiting to see if we're having a fly weekend though. That might be the only thing that ruins it for me.

well even though everybody here had to work i still went with somebody from another board, and managed to break one fender flare, destroy another fender flare, and scratch and dent my passenger side rear door and tub. i will post a pick of it later.
