Aloha all, referred here by HillBillE from Jeeps Unlimited.

A little about me. My name is Jason and I've been on active duty for 13.5 yrs in the Navy. My duty stations have been VF-31 (Undesignated Airdale) 1994-1997, Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI)-(Crossed over to INTEL and became an Intelligence Specialist) 1998-2001, COMUSNAVCENT, Manama-Bahrain 2001-2003, JICPAC 2003-2004, MNF-I Baghdad, Iraq 2004-2005, JICPAC 2005-2006, and now USS O'KANE 2006-Present.

I recently just got promoted to E-7, Chief Petty Officer and I'm looking to go back to Iraq or possibly Afghanistan if possible.

I currently have a 1979 CJ5 with my previous 4x4's being a 2003 Rubicon, 1995 YJ, 1999 Tacoma and a 1988 1-ton Toyota 4Runner.

Welcome. HillBillE has been around since the beginning. sure, it was only about 2 months ago, but who's counting.

I think HillBillE has got himself into a sort of "fabrication challenge" with BESRK.

Both guys are very talented. Looking forward to being around some other military members on here. Wonder if this board will have more maturity since it's all military members? :eek:

We get the occasional short jab in every once in a while when we see an opening, but other than that, we have a good group of folks.

Welcome. X-Navy myself. My son is X-Navy also, and is presently serving in the Naval Reserves. Congrats on your new Rank. I think you will like this fine group of folks.
