A Letter to the CG?

I've been considering (for some time) writing a letter to LTG Lynch and asking him to officially bless off on a 4X4 area for Ft Hood. He was my BDE CDR (1st BDE, 4ID) when I was still active duty and seemed like an allright guy.
However, upon further thought, I think it would be better if ol' MilJeep wrote the letter. I think it would carry more weight if a senior NCO was asking and not an out-of-shape ex-NCO. Maybe even get a petition together?
We wouldn't need much room, just a little section to call our own on the weekends.
What do you think?

I say the more letters the heavier the issue. Anything to keep Joes safe is good in my book.

yes he drives a jeep and i think him and the current cg are a good bet at allowin jeeps back in traing areas as the did open the atv course and they are doin anything to keep soldiers away from drugs and have them in a positive enviorment

Brother, if you plan on getting OL "Ricky" Lynch to sign off on something, you had better find a way to make it worth his while. He was my CG during OIF V here at FT Stewart.
