This is my first post here, thought I'd say hi. I bought my Jeep from my sister who had it for 10+ years (1979 CJ5), it was bone stock when I got it. You can see in my sig what I've done to it, it's a California Jeep (no rust) and I feel lucky that our vehicles don't rot the way most others do around the country. Anyway, looking forward to posting in the forum.

10-4 on that, there's nothing wrong with the older Jeeps. Do I detect a hint of jealously (JK)? Old time Jeeps for us old timers.......:). I really love my CJ5, I'm considered small, 5' 9" tall and 165 Lbs, I always hear the guys over 6' tall and 200+ Lbs complain about the fit of the CJ5's, they do just fine with the CJ7's (more room to move the seat back). On the other hand, I think the new Rubicons look buff with a lift kit and big tires, good looking rigs.
