Well, I made it to Germany (Spangdahlem) but the wife dropped the bomb shell. The big "D" is looming and she is taking the TJ and the Libby. That means that I need a new ride. I would prefer a TJ or a YJ but right now am open to just about anything. Anybody know where I can find a rig for cheap?

Edit: I should clarify this. She asked if she could have the TJ as it has always been "ours." I agreed as she spent a lot more time driving and working on it than I ever did. I just couldn't take something that means so much to her. The libby has always been her Jeep.

Sorry to hear it brother. Good luck hunting. PM Germany_Jeep2003 (something close to that) and hopefully he can help you out.

Hey, andy02, welcome to Spang. I know a few people selling a few things. PM me and I'll give you details. Also, south of Paris is a place that builds brand new Willies by hand. You can pick one up stock spec and ready to roll for a hefty chunk of Euro. I'd go that route instead of blowing 20 - 30 on a new rig... Who wouldn't want a Willies with a factory warranty? :D

She's taking both vehicles? Thats certainly sucks. Last I checked only one could be driven at a time.

The TJ is not coming over. It would just take to much money to make it legal here so we planned to leave it in the States and take leave to go to Moab once a year.

Chuck,

For some reason, it doesn't give me the option to PM you. I am currently staying in temp lodging so it makes it easier for me to call you. PM me your number and i'll get back to you as soon as I can. Or you can try 06565-9560 ext 4114

Hey man, we might be going wheelin this weekend up at Ramstein. If you have some free time, and if you don't mind riding with one of us, your more than welcome to come along.

Is there wheeling near Ramstein or on base?

There are a couple parks off base and several within a few hours drive. I don't think there are any on base, except for a vehicle test area but that's probably only for military vehicles.
