Winding Stairs Saturday the 7th?

Ok, just got my lift and new tires and need to get them stretched out. Gonna run Winding Stairs or at least something in that area. Thought I'd take Hotel Gulch to meet up with Winding Stairs and Ice Cave, it's easier then going all the way up Rampart Range Rd, and I mean easier on the the suspension since Rampart is so bumby like a rippled potato chip. So, if anyone wants to run with me I'd enjoy the company. Let me know. Thanks yall.

Wow, I was just looking at running up there. Haven't ever been there so I thought it would be a cool place to check out. I just don't think that I can make it. Still have too much stuff to do around the house, and I also have to pack for the field that weekend.

I was planning on meeting in the parking lot across from starbucks at 31st and colorado ave, it's off hwy 24 heading out towards manitou. Oh, and at 0900 to meet up.

Hey guys, so tomorrow is Saturday and I have said so far up the thread that we could meet across from Starbucks at 31st and Colorado Ave off HWY 24. At least that can be for the Springs peeps. As for Denverites, yall could probably just meet at the trail.

As for my dilemma, I said 0900 to meet at 31st and Colorado, but I just remembered that I have an appt at Drive-in Autosound to get my radio wiring fixed at their opening time which I think was either 8 or 9. Now, I'm still gonna run Winding Stairs but I'm just gonna be later than 9. I suspect my appt will take appox an hour, maybe 2 max, so I'd be leaving Springs closer to lunchtime. Do you all wanna push back the meeting time or yall just go and I'll catch up? Up for anything on my end so plan away. If you need to call me I'll post my cell below. And you can IM me at my yahoo. I'll keep checking this post often this evening and morning.

Didn't make it there, first because I didn't get any dead certain reply's saying who's gonna make it or not, and second because I figured I would do Eagle Rock with Colorado4x4 group today which I did, and I'd spend time with my family yesterday (Saturday). I'll have to tackle Stairs another time.

Lol, that happens.
Son and I went up on Gold Camp today and wandered up some of the trails. Most still have too much ice and snow for us to wander around alone.
