Hey all!, Dave and I installed my 8.8 yesterday. Rebuilt the LSD, Installed all new bearings, and Dave weled on some new tabs for the brake lines. here are a few pics I took. Thanks Dave!!!!

Whew! Now I can sleep at night!! :D

Kind of scary welding the brackets on 100 miles away. I felt pretty good about the jig I made but you never know for sure until the moment of truth.
I like the green paint! Matter of fact, I like it so much, I think I'm gonna shoot my CJ5 in it soon.. :D

Funny you should post this up right now.. I just got another 8.8 in the shop the other day to do brackets on. A guy from our club exploded his D35 in a parking lot. Picked up a 8.8 and brackets and dropped it off with me.

Yep, only want a ECTEC locker in the front. Its a DD. Has a heavier clutch set up in the carrier anyway. Thats why we rebuilt the carrier.:cool:

Not to thread hi-jack - Though I was wondering...
Eddie, do you do welding for things like PSC trail cages or custom type trail cages?
I've asked around to a few friends/club and your name has been recommended on several occasions for welding.
