So we threw on Jason's 2" springs and Mile Marker winch. Good times, let him tell his own story.

The very end is where josh tack welded my light brackets to my bumper, therefore getting rid of the zip ties. I still need to aim them, but that's good enough.

I posted in Tech Help too, many thanks again Chris. Yeah, it's growing up, seems like yesterday I was in the delivery lot nervously chain smoking, awaiting delivery of my baby. Today it took it's first steps on an uncertain and unpredictable path, undoubtably an expensive one. I still need everything else in the catalogs in my bathroom that my wife calls "Jeep Porn"...want more parts...next mod, getting the Volant airbox to complete the snorkel set and installing it. Anyone got some spare cash laying around?

Hehe. It got slammed in a door when I was loading up the wife to the hospital. Not my day I guess. No worries on thanking me, You'll repay the debt for someone one day :)

Snorkle is a great mod. Your Jeep will thank you for it like mine did last time at Dry River.

Spare Cash? Uh Right. I got a second job to support my Jeep addiction.

Yup, I hear ya brother, What with the Army and Family taking most of my time, I figured I could only work an extra 2 hours a day. So, to me, seems like my calling for part time work is to be a Man Whore. Two hours, damn, with my performance history I could please alot of customers...say at $25.00 each...long arm here I come!:D
Figured I'd build up protection mods first then go up for ground clearance. Next mod will be diff covers/guards since I plan on riding this 2" lift for at least a year. then other skids to protect my girls ample belly...

LOL!!

Sounds like you have the priorities right. Id go for full covers. More expensive, but less hassle in the long run. I used to run a Warn guard in the front, and each time it contacted a rock, it did its job and protected the diff - but made the seal on the cover start to leak. I have whacked my BTF covers on several rocks. No damage and no leaks yet.

Cool, thanks for the advice and heads up on the leak issue, I forget what korisu56 has installed on his 8.8, it was a beast of a full cover and it got me thinking to go that way too, sorry, what is BTF and how much front and rear?

Rockcrusher. 14 lbs for the 8.8 diff. I think diego runs the same on his 44's. He'll be able to give you better input.

I saw it. That's a loud green. Freakin sweet! You want to re gear the fronts together? I actually got another guy that wants to get in on it too. He put a Rubi 44 in the back of his sport.
